Does anyone know anything about this? The biggest issue I have faced is that there are a lot of things that freeze the game in battle.

Most notably is that Scan magic almost always freezes the game. I ran into problems using several spells and especially while Draw-Casting.

The game is playable, however. For me it added a kind of challenge, limiting the spells and abilities I could use. When I was at the end of Disc 3 I discovered a homebrew that allows you to switch the game ID between a stable version and a fullspeed version.

Unfortunately, since I have used it to switch to the stable game ID I haven't had a chance to test all of the things that made it freeze previously, so I can't say how well the alternate ID works. Not only should you do this because pirating is lame, but it will also provide the best quality EBOOT.

SSMB I have no idea how the PSN version works. Most other games were barely noticeable though. Multi-disc eboots that have more than 2GB of data won't fit into the signed bit pointer used by the loader. FF8 falls into that category.

But why does it work for some people and not for some others? My best guess is that it isn't actually working for anyone.

Looks like you're right, I made a little test: Tell the desktop file to point to the m3u. Long time no see: I prefer mine be separate, as well: I have not had issues with ones I personally run.

And, I do not even use m3u. I just keep them in same CLV, and disk append. There are a couple games I need to test for people, that they have had issues switching on. I will try to test those, too.

I was stuck for a little while, but then I learned that. Not only is.

I had the same eboot struggle you are having, so I did the m3u thing and it runs great now. I did mess up the first time by mislabeling the discs in the m3u file, so make sure the filenames are correct. Maybe something with the M3U file or your cue file for the disc you are changing to. The naming has to be exact, down to to the capitalization of the file extension. Does it start to load up and freeze or are you just getting a blackscreen? What happens is disc 1 starts normally but when i switch discs and hit restart it freezes.

What I'm going to try now is just keeping each disc separate like separate games and then using the same memory card file for each.

Limit Breaking Riddles Not only is. If this sounds intensely complicated, it is, but the system also works very well, enabling you to customize your combat strategy in any number of different ways.
